Javi is a Panama City–based film director, creative director, and educator. His cross-disciplinary practice moves between creative direction, film, photography, and education, shifting fluidly from commercial commissions for brands to independent projects across film and visual and spatial design. His film work has been presented through programs including the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Cinemalaya, and QCinema.

Alongside his creative practice, Javi has taught media and design since 2012 at various art and design institutions in Manila, including Meridian International College and De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Psychology at Mapúa University. His ongoing movement and wellness practice informs an interest in the body, behaviour, performance, and human experience—threads that support a versatile practice across commercial, cultural, and academic contexts.
